I am Tatyana Bragina (Prus), founder of the BRAGINA-ART creative project, an independent contemporary artist from the Moscow region. I work in acrylic and gold enamel techniques. The "Path of Man" series consists of 62 original paintings.
Hope is the light that remains even when everything around you seems plunged into absolute darkness.
Hope doesn't have to be strong. Its size doesn't matter. What matters is how much light it can give. Sometimes a single ray is enough to keep us from losing our way.
The painting answers one life question: what do you do when everything around you is dark?
Don't wait for the darkness to disappear — find what gives you the strength to take the next step.
A person keeps walking, not knowing where the road will lead.
A bridge connects two shores: one already left behind, the other still ahead. But the most important things happen right between them.
The Path is not only the movement toward a goal. It is everything that happens to us along the way: choices, encounters, losses, discoveries, and transformations.
"The Path" answers the question: where does our life happen?
Not at the beginning, and not at the end. It happens right now, in between.
To keep going, you need to know not only where you came from, but also what pulls you forward.
The star appears not in the sky, but as if inside the person themselves. It becomes an inner light that helps you move forward, even when the road is not yet visible.
A dream doesn't have to be achievable right now. Sometimes it's enough to know that it simply exists.
"Dream" answers the question: what leads us forward?
For a long time, I did not consider myself an artist. Although I once graduated from an art school, painted commissioned portraits, took part in exhibitions and competitions, and kept returning to painting again and again, I still felt that I lacked talent.
Everything changed on June 16, 2026. That was the day I began creating my first series of paintings and, for the first time, allowed myself not only to paint, but to call myself an artist.
My story began far from Moscow. I was born in a small village and grew up in difficult circumstances. My life has included loss, change, disappointment, and moments that forced me to start over.
Perhaps that is why I know so well how much can happen inside a person while remaining invisible to everyone around them. I paint human states.
I am drawn to what cannot be seen directly: hope, loneliness, love, anxiety, strength, acceptance, freedom, wisdom, and the desire to return to oneself. I begin with a single question and try to find an image for it. This is how The Human Path, a series of 62 paintings, came to life.
It begins with Hope and ends with The Creator. Between them, a person moves through search, love, loss, fear, strength, acceptance, wisdom, and inner transformation. At first, we look for support in the world around us. In the end, we realize that what mattered most had been within us all along.
That is why my paintings do not tell specific stories or offer a single right answer. They leave space for personal meaning. Someone may see their own experience in them. Someone may remember a person. Someone may find an answer to a question they have been carrying for a long time. I want art to be understood without words.
Art needs no translation. I create paintings that a particular person will find at a particular moment. Perhaps at the very moment when they need the meaning I placed within that work most. And if one day one of my paintings becomes the final piece of the puzzle in answering an important question in someone’s life, then it was created for a reason. I am still learning to call myself an artist.
But now I know one thing for certain: Sometimes a person spends their whole life searching for themselves, only to realize one day that they were never truly lost.

My Philosophy: I do not paint what I see. I paint what I feel.

WHEN A GALLERY TAKES NOTICE
In September 2026, the Hamburg-based online gallery Kunsthandlung.de featured the painting “Loss” from the series “The Human Path”. This is neither a sale nor a purchase—it is a sign that the inner journey I paint resonates far beyond the borders of Russia.
